Dohlman Earns Horatio Alger Award

Tyler Dohlman, a 2004 graduate of Riceville Community High School, has been awarded the "Washington Family Horatio Alger Scholarship of Excellence Grant," a $40,000 award which will help in the funding of his post-graduate education. The grant is the newest scholarship program.

The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans is pleased to announce that Zenaida Gallardo of Arvin, California has been awarded the “Washington Family Horatio Alger Scholarship of Excellence Grant” to assist in funding for a post-graduate education. Zenaida is one of the first recipients of the newest scholarship program in the Association’s esteemed set of programs.

Ashley D. McKain of Foley has been awarded the "Washington Family Horatio Alger Scholarship of Excellence Grant" by the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans. The grant will help pay for her postgraduate education. McKain is one of the first recipients of the newest scholarship program in the association's set of programs.
