The 2012 State of Our Nation’s Youth Survey Press Conference
The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc., in conjunction with its research partners, Hart Research Associates, and NORC at the University of Chicago, is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2012-2013 State of Our Nation's Youth Survey. The 2012 survey focuses on identifying factors that are thought to be causing the decreasing number of students completing college today, such as accessibility to college education, the recent growth of student loan debt and the affordability of college. The survey will include responses from 1,500 young people between the ages of 14 and 23, the largest population sample in the survey's history.
The Horatio Alger Association hosted a press conference to announce the results in the Newseum’s Knight Studio at 10:00 a.m. on August 8th, 2012.
